Rajinikanth conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award at 67th National Film Awards Ceremony

Dadasaheb Phalke Award has been one of the most prestigious awards in Indian Cinema. The award is considered as the highest honored award for an artist in the history of Indian Cinema.

Famous South Indian Actor Rajnikanth received Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 67th National Film Awards Ceremony for his extraordinary contribution as an Actor, Producer, and Screenwriter. Having said that, we had no new nominees from the past three years after Amitabh Bachhan received this award in 2018.

The joy of receiving such a prestigious award was clearly visible in the actor’s eyes. He was there with his wife Latha, daughter Soundarya, and son-in-law Dhanush.

While giving the winning speech, Rajnikanth thanked his guru and mentor K Balachander, his brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad and his bus driver-friend Raj Bahadur who he said was the first person to identify the acting talent in him when he was a bus conductor.

Along with this, Rajnikanth cordially thanked the Central government for honoring him.

He concluded his speech by thanking his fans saying he is “nobody without them.” “They are the Gods who keep me living”

The actor is coming with an amazing action-drama Tamil film “Annaatthe” this Diwali and is prepared to hit the theatres again with his blockbuster acting skills.
