The rush in Covid -19 cases has once again forced directors to rethink their release plan for their upcoming movies. Here are the top five films that may trench the theatrical for digital outings.
The film was released in February, but due to the closure of cinemas in the nation and other interference, it is expected to go for an OTT release. It is a continuation of the Badhaai Ho (2018) franchise, in which actors like Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Sanya Malhotra were highlighted. The second part of the film stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar.
This film will be the first Bollywood debut of Rashmika Mandanna, there are high chances that the Vikas Bahl film may take the release to the OTT world. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Shivin Narang, and Pavail Gulati.
Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, or Rakul Preet Singh, the actors have toured the reach of the OTT in the past, and it is expected that they will incline back on the same with the film, which is currently to release in April. The aeronautics thriller also stars Angira Dhar, Boman Irani, Ajey Nagar, and Aakanksha Singh.

Due to the Covid-19 flurry in 2020, the shooting being obstructed after the lead actor Kartik Aaryan became infected from the virus, the film has faced many challenges, and now the current virus crisis has put its release plan in March. There are chances that the film will take the OTT to avoid any further delay. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee.
This war drama movie will bring the story of war master Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, who fought during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. The film is based on Brigadier Mehta’s book The Burning Chaffees. The film is directed by Raja Menon, it also features Priyanshu Painyuli, Soni Razdan, Mrunal Thakur, and Ishaan Khatte.
